Role Overview
A Boutique Salesperson is responsible for greeting customers as they enter the store and advising them on products available in-store.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Assisting guests with product selection and providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences and needs
- Maintaining an organized and attractive display of boutique merchandise, ensuring that products are well-stocked and visually appealing
- Promoting the hotel boutique's offerings, including exclusive items, gifts, and local products, to enhance the guest experience
- Handling transactions accurately and processing payments through the hotel's point-of-sale system
- Ensuring the boutique environment is clean, tidy, and welcoming for all guests
- Providing information about the products, including their features, benefits, and origin, while upholding the hotel's brand standards
- Collaborating with the front desk and concierge teams to recommend boutique items to guests during check-in or throughout their stay
- Monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers for stock replenishment, and tracking sales performance
- Addressing guest inquiries or concerns related to the boutique items and resolving any issues with professionalism and courtesy
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in a retail/sales or fashion related position, preferably in a 5-star Hotel's Boutique or High-end Clothing Brand
- Excellent knowledge of English language. Any additional language will be considered an asset
- Customer service and problem-solving orientation
- Excellent sense of Fashion and Persuasion Skills
