Role Overview
As Wolt continues its rapid expansion and prepares for an exciting 2025, we are seeking an Account Management Team Lead to join our team in Cyprus.
Reporting to the Restaurant Sales Development Team Lead, you’ll lead a dynamic team that is responsible for both account management and outside sales activities. While the core focus lies in building strong, long-term relationships with our restaurant partners and optimizing their performance on our platform, the team is also actively expanding Wolt’s partner portfolio by bringing new venues on board.
As the Account Management Team Lead, you will guide and empower your team to excel in both areas, while also serving as the dedicated Account Manager for our most strategic restaurant partners.
What You’ll Do
- Key Account Management: Manage relationships with our most important restaurant partners, acting as their trusted advisor and ensuring their success on our platform.
- Drive Growth: Use data-driven insights to consult restaurant partners, optimize their performance, and improve key metrics such as menu quality and visibility.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team that combines account management with outside sales, setting clear KPIs, providing regular feedback, and creating an environment that fosters development and success.
- Expand Partnerships: Support the team in identifying and onboarding new restaurant partners to grow Wolt’s portfolio, while maintaining a high standard of service for existing partners.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong, long-term partnerships with restaurants, acting as the key point of contact post-onboarding.
- Collaborative Campaigns: Partner with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns that drive mutual growth with restaurant partners.
- Strategic Negotiations: Lead and support the team in renegotiating terms with existing partners to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality and satisfaction checks with partners to uphold our service standards.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate Wolt’s values in your leadership style and inspire your team to do the same.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience in key account management, with a strong foundation in outside sales or portfolio expansion. Leadership experience is a must.
- Leadership Skills: A motivating leader who fosters team success and cultivates a positive, "can-do" attitude.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences.
- Sales Acumen: Strong commercial mindset with a track record of expanding business partnerships.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data analytic tools like PowerBi, Tableau, Looker or advanced Excel;
- Detail-Oriented: Structured, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
- Passion for Food: Enthusiasm for the restaurant industry and working with top eateries.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both Greek and English is required.
