We are seeking to recruit a full-time Career Counsellor to join our growing team at PASCAL Private Secondary School Lefkosia.

Requirements
- Meet and advice parents/pupils regarding major elective subject choices and/or changes in cooperation with the management of the school
- Maintain a significant network of associates (external educational advisors) to whom pupils can be referred, to process their applications to universities worldwide
- Responsible for local universities and colleges applications and placements
- Responsible for UCAS university applications, placements and clearing
- Advice on scholarships and financial aid opportunities and manage university scholarship applications
- Manage the preparation of reference letters and any other applications’ supporting documents and supervising personal statements writing
- Assist students throughout the Cyprus and Greek universities applications
- Advice pupils on other qualifications (LNAT, BMAT, UKCAT, Pancyprian exams etc.)
- Prepare pupils for admission interviews
- Organise university visits/fairs and inform pupils/parents about upcoming educational events/fairs/workshops
- Organise personality profile and career psychometric tests
- Advice pupils on summer school opportunities in Cyprus and abroad
- Advice on work opportunities as given by reputable sources such as HRDA
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Counselling / Career Guidance from a reputable University
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counselling or a similar field will be considered an advantage
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Career Counsellor or similar role will be considered an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent command of English language
