As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you support the Housekeeping Manager in the daily supervision, organizing and maintenance of the rooms, and common-use areas of the hotel with care by following the company's SOPs. Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and supervising the housekeeping team
- Train and coach housekeeping staff on cleaning and maintenance procedures
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and orderliness
- Collaborate with front desk staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory
- Schedule staff and assign tasks to ensure efficient use of resources
- Assist in developing and implementing housekeeping policies and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages will be considered as an asset
