Restaurant Captain - NOUS Santorini

Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests instantly in warm and friendly ways and thanks them for their attendance upon leaving
- Serves dishes and drinks to guests
- Supervise the team with a hands-on approach, ensuring the correct completion of all required tasks in a timely fashion
- Conduct pre-meal informational briefing with staff so that are knowledgeable about dishes, cooking methods, menu items, specials, etc
- Supervise the accuracy of the guest check and collect payments, as required
- Develop a positive relationship with guests and all team members, whilst remaining professional and service orientated at all times
- Implement all aspects of departmental training on the job functions
- Perform other duties as requested or deemed necessary by the management team
Requirements
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language - Knowledge of any other language will be consider as an asset
- Degree in Hospitality/Tourism is highly desirable
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and of at least one PMS software (ie. Protel) and P.O.S. system
- Minimum 3 years' experience as Restaurant Captain in a 5*hotel
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards and procedures
- Hands-on approach, flexible, with a positive attitude
