DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop a culture of excellence in the office, and establish the company as a desirable brand for the best talent in Cyprus:
- Oversee coordination of cross-department collaboration in CY
- Drive hiring in the local market, including using own networks to support people teams in identifying high-caliber talent, and play an active role in recruitment to uplevel our teams as we grow
Manage relationships with critical external parties in the EU from an end-to-end business perspective, including:
- As the core business representative for regulators, working closely with compliance colleagues
- With our strategic partners, in collaboration with our local marketing and product colleagues
- With critical service providers for the EU operations, working closely with the Partnerships teams
Drive growth and profitability across the EU, by monitoring performance vs. plan and identifying actions to improve performance:
- Responsible for end-to-end monitoring of KPIs across EU and developing recommendations for driving improved growth and profitability
- Work with functional departments (e.g. Growth, Product) to prioritise and execute against these recommendations
Drive new product/geography launches in the EU throughout the lifecycle from ideation to execution including:
- Work with Product and Growth leadership on initial vision, business case development and scoping of new product/geography launches
- Coordinate strategic execution of new launches bringing together teams across Partnerships, Product, Growth and Operations to ensure successful launch and initial momentum for new products
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams across various functions.
- Demonstrated success in previous leadership roles, ideally within the Financial Services industry. Relevant sectors include: Payments, Banking, Investment Services
- Deep understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Ability to set a clear, forward-looking strategy aligned with the company goals
- A mindset focused on growth, innovation, and identifying new opportunities
- Aptitude for addressing diverse challenges, from regulatory hurdles to customer issues, with practical solutions.
- Ability to manage relationships across a range of stakeholders from different locations and departments
