A wonderful opportunity has arisen within a global company specializing in offshore and marine machinery for a Senior Commercial Accountant to join its new and expanding Cyprus office and team. The company is an established international group of companies with over 30 years of experience providing unbeatable service to crane users and owners around the world.
This role would suit a qualified Accountant with experience in Industry and project accounting who has good knowledge of month-end reporting, project reporting, cash flow analysis, transactional background, international transactions, and MS Excel. This role will report to the CFO who will oversee the monthly accounts for a new company in the Netherlands and oversee all new global projects from a financial reporting aspect for the group.
Job Description
- Project cash flow forecasting
- Project P&L reporting and forecasting
- Weekly reporting and review with the Data analyst
- P&L and Balance sheet reviews
- Project tender reviews
- Foreign tax research
- Internal reporting
Your Profile
- Intermediate Excel knowledge
- Fully tech literate and comfortable
- Qualified Accountant would be preferred with relevant experience as a Project Accountant
- Fluent English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong team player but also happy to work on one’s initiative
- Used to reporting to senior management level
- Flexible approach with a positive attitude and solution-focused attitude
