The Vacancy
We are currently seeking to recruit a high caliber professional to join our tax team in our Limassol office. The position provides the opportunity to work as a tax specialist, broadening tax skills and knowledge, as well as career advancement opportunities.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and reviewing income/corporation tax computations for clients doing business in various industries
- Preparation and submission of tax returns (TD1, TD4, TD7 etc.)
- Dealing with various tax matters including tax assessments/appeals, tax registrations/de-registrations, tax investigations and tax rulings
- Undertaking the preparation of capital gains tax calculations as well as capital statements.
- Liaising with the tax authorities regarding clients’ tax affairs
- Keeping up to date with the changes in the field of taxation and informing other affected departments
Qualifications and attributes
- University Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent field and/or a professional qualification (or part-qualification) with the ACCA/ICAEW
- At least 2 years of experience in tax related work
- Holder of ADIT or similar professional qualification will be considered an advantage
- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (additional software knowledge will be considered an advantage)
- Attention to detail and drive to deliver high quality work
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Ambitious and hard-working with an interest in development within the firm
