About Us:
Oceanic is a world leading marine services provider, Part of V.Group, that offers catering management for Merchant vessels, hotel and hospitality operations, procurement, logistics and consultancy services for the Cruise sector, catering and housekeeping services for the Offshore sector, hospitality and culinary training, SeaMed24 Medical Solutions, Marine Stores, Health and Wellbeing services and is seeking to recruit, a Marketing Manager.
The successful candidate will be based in the Company’s offices in Limassol.
Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for co-ordinating internal and external marketing communication activities, including PR, brochure-ware, advertising, trade shows and events, and market research and analysis.
Assist management with sales prospecting, preparation of proposals, general contract administration, sales & marketing planning, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To assist in preparation of prequalification documents, company sales presentations, proposals, and administration of existing contracts
2. To monitor construction and maintenance projects and assist sales team in developing leads and prospecting potential clients
3. Sales custodian and ‘Super User’ for internal CRM application, including training of new users and general system housekeeping
4. To assist in development of sales and marketing processes and procedures
5. To ensure the management of the brand in line with group brand guidelines and the implementation of group initiatives for the company
6. To co-ordinate marketing communication programmes and monitor budget to ensure timely and accurate delivery of service in the following areas.
a. PR/Marketing communications: planning, production and co-ordination of publicity, internal and external communications (newsletters etc), development and maintenance of website and intranet
b. Merchandising and Collateral materials: planning, production, and distribution of all print collateral material, signage, and all company/brand identity materials
c. Conferences & events: planning, production, and coordination of trade shows and corporate events
7. To participate in overall departmental strategic planning process and contribute to the preparation of marketing budgets
8. To research and increase market intelligence awareness, report on industry trends and key international markets to support business planning and decision-making process.
9. To maintain company subscriptions and directory entries, including FPAL, EIC etc
10. To represent company at relevant conferences and networking events
11. To undertake emergency response role on a rota basis
12. May be required to provide out of hours support as appropriate
Qualifications:
Essential:
• Well-developed analytical and presentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable with dealing with internal & external contacts
• High level of expertise in MS software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Language skills a distinct advantage
• Excellent command of the English language both written and oral.
• Preferably qualified to degree level
• Demonstrable experience in advertising, marketing, media, promotions, or public relations required (or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience)
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Desirable:
• Previous market research experience including database management highly desirable
