What You’ll Do
As our Baker, you’ll be the heart of our kitchen, crafting delicious baked goods that keep our customers coming back for more. Here’s what your day will look like:
- Prepare and Bake: Create breads, pastries, and desserts from scratch using tried-and-true recipes (and maybe even adding your own twist!).
- Follow Recipes to Perfection: Measure, mix, and bake with precision to ensure every bite is as delicious as the last.
- Maintain Freshness: Ensure all products are made fresh daily and maintain high-quality standards.
- Monitor Supplies: Keep an eye on ingredients and equipment to avoid shortages or downtime.
- Keep it Clean: Maintain a clean and organized workstation that meets food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate: Work with the team to plan production schedules and prepare for special orders or events.
- Innovate: Share your creative ideas for new recipes and seasonal offerings.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience as a Baker or similar role. Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment is a big plus.
- Skills:
- Expertise in mixing, shaping, and baking dough.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, temperatures, and timing.
- Attention to detail for consistency in every batch.
- Passion: A love for baking and a commitment to delivering excellence.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, especially during busy hours.
- Physical Stamina: Comfort with long shifts, early mornings, and the ability to lift up to 10kg.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and early shifts.
