We are looking for:
A passionate Quality Control Procurement Officer to be responsible for ensuring that all laboratory consumables are available and meet the specifications required by the laboratory. This role involves procurement, sourcing, and maintaining stock levels, while also ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
As a Quality Control Procurement Officer, you will:
- Reviewing and executing requisitions.
- Requesting quotations from various approved suppliers, negotiating best price/quantity for Remedica.
- Processing the order in the ERP System, preparing and collecting the necessary documentation.
- Issuing and sending purchase orders (PO) to suppliers upon approval along with the necessary documentation.
- Following through the order cycle and communicating with relevant stakeholders to ensure that goods are cleared, and the payment has been processed and completed.
- Follow up with the vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensuring that prior to order shipment, the necessary documentation has been collected from the supplier and stamped by the pharmaceutical services (where applicable) and verify that that payment terms and prices are in accordance with the contractual agreement.
- Assist in the evaluation of new consumables sources or suppliers.
- Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and lead times.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Ensure all laboratory consumables comply with relevant pharmacopoeia standards/specifications, regulatory guidelines, and company requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Logistics and QC personnel to monitor inventory levels to ensure that sufficient stock of QC consumables is always available.
- Collaborate closely with Logistics personnel to maintain accurate records of stock levels, usage rates, and forecasted needs.
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation.
- Maintain detailed records of all procurement transactions, including purchase orders, and invoices.

- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or any other relevant field
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
