We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Bookkeeper to join our expanding Finance Team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate ledgers, and assist in the preparation of essential financial reports. Your work will be key to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, contributing directly to the continued success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

• Update, reconcile, and generate reports from our online sales system.

• Reconcile nominal accounts, as well as supplier, customer, and bank accounts.

• Enter and maintain financial data in accounting software, ensuring up-to-date and accurate records.

• Liaise with suppliers, manage supplier booking systems, and reconcile statements for accuracy.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, handling both Euro and foreign currency accounts.

• Support the preparation and submission of VAT, VIES, and Social Insurance returns.

• Collaborate with the team to gather financial data for external audits.

• Maintain a well-organized and efficient filing system for all financial documents.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with hands-on knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or SAP.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.

• A solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounts payable/receivable processes.

• Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, and manage financial data.

• High level of accuracy in data entry, with strong numerical aptitude.

• Ability to confidently and efficiently navigate online booking systems.

• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.

• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
