The role
The EU Co-funded Projects Associate is an active member of Alumil's Finance Division, responsible for researching and utilizing EU and Nationally funded programs for the Group's needs. You are located in our head office in Thessaloniki, and in cooperation with the team's Supervisor, you keep an eye on a daily basis on new funded programs and projects relative to the company's needs. Some key responsibilities of the position are the following:
- Researching new funded programs (EU & national)
- Keeping up with departmental needs & deadlines
- Submitting proposals on the chosen programs and coordinating the process, aiming their successful completion
- Organizing the relative documents
- Preparing detailed reports
- Organizing events that will boost Alumil's innovative spirit
Your impact
You like project management, event planning, researching, and suggesting the best funded program to achieve excellence within the organization. We want an attention-to-detail person with analytical skills who loves to read beyond the lines. You follow a certain research methodology in order to keep track of the projects parameters and coordinate the appropriate tasks avoiding mishaps and conflict.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Economics, or relevant field
- Experience in submitting proposals and managing national and/or European projects is desirable
- A fundamental knowledge of business economics and accounting is desirable
- Fluent English (written & oral)
- Critical and analytical thinking
