Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an
Assistant Auditor at
METIS HELLAS located in Thessaloniki. As an Assistant Auditor, your role will involve overseeing the following tasks:
- Collaborate and engage with other audit team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of the client's business
- Complete assigned audit tasks and deliverables to a high-quality standard
- Perform audit procedures to obtain sufficient audit evidence over certain areas of the audit with a focus on quality and in accordance with applicable international auditing standards
- Keep senior audit team members informed of significant developments and progress on the engagement
- Work on personal professional development to maintain status and accreditation undertaking all mandatory and regulatory training as required
Requirements
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidates are natural team players with quality focus and professional mindset. More specifically, candidates should possess the following attributes:
- University degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or relative subjects
- MSc in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, will be considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English
- Strong communication and team working skills
- Eagerness to learn through a positive attitude and to provide quality professional work
- Project management skills
