Company overview:
We are currently partnering with a prestigious, Top 6 audit firm in Nicosia. With market shifts driving growth, they are expanding their team and seeking an Audit Senior to join.
Role overview:
As an Audit Senior, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of audit engagements. Your responsibilities include involvement in client acceptance procedures, gaining an in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses, and identifying key risk matters. You will plan, execute, and finalize audit assignments while demonstrating a basic understanding of tax issues and assisting with client tax returns. You will contribute to larger audit engagements, including participation in international audits with network firms. Additional duties involve supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff, monitoring budgets and cost controls, and reporting directly to managers and partners.
Key requirements & skills:
- University Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/ or a related field
- Qualified or partly Qualified ACA/ACCA
- Experience in Audit
- Experience in Caseware
- Strong knowledge of MS office
- Excellent command of English and Greek language
- Ability to work as a team member
- Has leadership skills and can train staff
