Assistant Accountant
(Athens)
Job Description
•Processes daily accounting transactions
•Supports in the reconciliation of General Ledger, Vendor and Customer balances, on a daily/monthly basis
•Supports the overall accounting and bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and receivable, inventory and capital assets
•Supports and participates in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
•Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures
•Prepares ad hoc analysis/reports as per management requirements
Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:
Candidate’s Profile
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or in a related field
•Master’s degree in Finance and/or relevant professional qualification will be considered a plus
•2-3 years of professional experience in accounting
•Good understanding of accounting IT and ERP tools
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English language
•Able to work in an international environment and with international teams
•Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to summarize large amounts of data
•Time management and ability to work under strict deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
