Definition
The Marketing and Development Officer plays a pivotal role in both promoting our dogs for adoption and securing the financial sustainability and growth of our organization. This dual-focused position involves a blend of creative marketing strategies and robust fundraising initiatives, making it essential for our continued operation and success.

Job Responsibilities
Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote adoptable dogs and the goals of our organization.
- Utilize various channels including social media, print media, TV, radio, and digital platforms to maximize our reach and impact.
- Create and coordinate monthly events to promote the goals of our organization and to generate income.
Development activities and responsibilities:
- Developing Strategies: Create effective strategies to generate income, identify potential donor segments, and set income goals.
- Building and Maintaining Relationships: Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders through regular communication and engagement strategies.
- Grant Writing and Management: Research and apply for grants, managing the process from proposal writing to compliance and reporting.
- Event Planning and Management: Organize events to raise funds and awareness, handling all aspects from planning to execution.
- Communications: Craft compelling messages and stories that highlight our work and impact, including newsletters, social media content, and appeals.
- Financial Planning and Reporting: Track and report on fundraising activities, ensuring they are cost-effective and meet financial targets.
- Press releases and public relations: Co-ordinate press releases, send content to various media outlets, Liaise and communicate our vision with various press agencies and media outlets, Inform press and various media outlets of organization work, arrange promotion of organization via Radio, TV or podcast talk shows
- Online e- shop Management: Update products, monitor orders, Monitor shipments, Liaise with customers if any issues arise, Create new products within drop shipping platforms, Ensure correct stock levels for products for sale, arrange delivery or pick up points for products that are in physical stock in Cyprus, Reporting, Sales and performance reports of stock
- Membership: Create and Market the charities membership program, manage membership program

Physical and Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in using cameras and basic computer software ( Excel, word etc.)
- Fluent communication in English and Greek.
