RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Collaborate with senior data engineers and data scientists to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Help build and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and other data storage systems.
- Support data modelling activities to ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance.
- Develop and maintain data integration solutions to aggregate data from various sources.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of data quality and data governance frameworks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in data engineering and contribute to process improvements.
- Contribute to documentation efforts, including data dictionaries, technical specifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2–3 years’ experience building production-quality software.
- Bachelor’s or master's degree and/or equivalent professional experience
- Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office applications.
- Exceptional negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
