We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our team of IT professionals on behalf of one of our major clients in the IT sector, located in Nicosia, Cyprus. The ideal candidate will bring expertise from the banking sector, particularly in bank loan products, to ensure effective alignment with client requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Attend client workshops to gather and analyze new requirements, with a focus on banking processes and loan product specifications.
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for presentation to client stakeholders.
- Gather and clarify detailed requirements from client business users, ensuring accurate communication with development and testing teams.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and technical teams to facilitate project alignment.
- Participate in sprint planning and monitor the progress of deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Manage the product backlog, perform data analysis to prioritize tasks, and assist in efficient allocation.
- Identify and manage change requests based on user stories (tickets), participating actively in the client’s change management process.
- Present product-related data and insights in client meetings.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement within existing processes and propose effective solutions.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for an ideal candidate with a strong background in the banking sector, particularly in gathering and analyzing requirements for bank loan products.
1-3 years of experience in IT Business Analyst roles within banking would be highly suitable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and meet client deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to new challenges.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the banking sector with a focus on IT and loan product-related projects.
- Experience working in Agile methodology.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Fluency in Greek and English (both verbal & written).
