We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to manage all legal-related matters within our business unit, overseeing teams and business operations in Ukraine, Cyprus, the UK, and the UAE, with a particular focus on Family Office-based operations. This role involves handling a broad range of legal responsibilities, including corporate governance, HR, procurement, contracts, compliance, and other legal aspects critical to supporting the Family Office structure. You will ensure the organization complies with relevant laws across multiple jurisdictions, mitigate risks, and streamline legal processes.
Responsibilities:
- Handle corporate governance matters for a Family Office-based structure, including company formation, restructuring, and compliance across Ukraine, Cyprus, the UK, and the UAE.
- Provide legal support on HR-related issues, including employment contracts, dispute resolution, and labor law compliance in all business locations.
- Manage procurement and vendor contracts, ensuring that legal standards are met and agreements comply with local regulations.
- Advise on legal risks and provide guidance to senior management, particularly within the Family Office, ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure adherence to legal frameworks, including anti-corruption, data protection, and environmental laws, tailored to the Family Office’s needs.
- Support M&A and other strategic transactions, conducting due diligence and managing the legal aspects of cross-border deals.
- Represent the Family Office in legal negotiations, dispute resolutions, and liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.
- Develop and maintain internal legal policies, templates, and best practices specific to Family Office operations and international requirements.
- Collaborate with external legal advisors across different jurisdictions to ensure comprehensive legal support.
- Collaborate with Legal colleagues from other business units to ensure strategic alignment.
- Execute other legal-related activities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience from 3 years as a Legal Counsel or similar role, with expertise in corporate law, employment law, and contract management, particularly within Family Office-based organizations.
- Strong knowledge of legal frameworks, compliance issues, and risk management across Ukraine, Cyprus, the UK, and the UAE.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle complex legal matters independently, providing sound legal advice to a Family Office structure.
- Experience with cross-border legal issues and familiarity with international legal standards.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing legal documents and ensuring compliance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business units across multiple countries.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on risk mitigation and strategic alignment.

- Fluent English level is required
