Job Description:
MEDTL is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Expert Machine Learning Engineer/Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will apply your expertise in machine learning, time series analysis, and physiological signal processing to design and optimize algorithms for critical care patient monitoring. Your contributions will be pivotal in advancing our mission to improve patient outcomes through non-invasive monitoring technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and testing of advanced deep learning algorithms for biosignal data analysis from a variety of sources, including wearables (e.g., ECG, HR, Temp, PPG, accelerometry).
- Discover and implement innovative analytical methods to address complex challenges in data processing and healthcare monitoring.
- Develop and refine novel machine learning algorithms tailored for critical care monitoring applications.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and provide insights through hypothesis generation and testing.
- Analyze historical data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement of our algorithms.
- Create and manage machine learning models, retraining systems, and ensuring optimal performance in production environments.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance the company’s R&D initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior or Expert Machine Learning Engineer, Scientist, or a related role.
- Extensive knowledge of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
- Strong foundation in mathematics, probability, statistics, and machine learning algorithms.
- Proficiency in Python and demonstrated ability to write efficient, production-level code.
- Expertise with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Keras, PyTorch) and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of practical experience applying ML to solve complex problems, with a strong track record of delivering impactful solutions in applied environments.
