Job Summary:
The HR Specialist at EMBIO Diagnostics will be responsible for supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, and policy compliance. We seek a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional to ensure our growing team is supported and aligned with our mission to improve environmental and public health through advanced technology.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition: Oversee the hiring process from posting job listings to onboarding new hires, ensuring a seamless experience that reflects our company’s values.
Employee Engagement & Culture: Implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, foster engagement, and build a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Policy Compliance & Development: Maintain and update HR policies, ensuring they are aligned with Cyprus employment laws and EMBIO’s core values.
Performance Management: Work with managers to support performance review cycles, providing tools and resources for effective employee feedback and development planning.
Benefits & Compensation Administration: Manage and communicate employee benefits, addressing queries and ensuring offerings support our team’s diverse needs.
HR Records & Systems: Maintain organized and secure employee records, leveraging HRIS for efficient data management and compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in HR, ideally within a tech or science-driven company.
Strong understanding of Cyprus labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a talent for building relationships.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with an ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
