As a Pastry Cook at Canaves Collection, you will have the opportunity to work in our luxurious properties, including Canaves Ena, Canaves Oia Suites & Spa, Sunday Suites, and the newly launched Canaves Epitome. As a Pastry Cook, you will play a key role in our culinary operations, responsible for preparing and creating delectable pastries, desserts, and confections that will captivate our guests' palates. Responsibilities
- Prepare and craft a variety of pastries, desserts, and confections according to established recipes and standards
- Decorate and present pastries in an aesthetically pleasing manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry station while adhering to health and safety regulations
- Closely monitor and control the inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry creations
- Follow strict timelines to ensure the timely delivery of pastries for various outlets
- Mentor and assist junior members of the pastry team
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook, preferably within a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, recipes, and decoration
- Creative flair and ability to develop new pastry creations
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
