Our team consists of seasoned Finance and Real Estate professionals dedicated in identifying opportunities aligned with the Company’s mission in the local market and beyond. We are looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Finance Supervisor to join our Finance team.
Job Description:
- Responsible for the financial and tax reporting of legal entities in various jurisdictions across the world (including but not limited to CY and UK Real Estate).
- Preparation of monthly management reports and any other reports that the management may request from time to time.
- Review of VAT returns prior to submission.
- Close cooperation and coordination with external auditors, tax advisors and consultants, ensuring reporting deadlines are always met.
- Verify the accuracy of accounting and bookkeeping related information by performing monthly reviews of the general ledger and management accounts.
- Enhance internal controls by recommending and implementing new policies and procedures.
- Authorization of outgoing payments to suppliers and related parties within the bank accounts of the legal entities assigned.
Person Specification:
- ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in a similar position.
- Previous experience in CY Real Estate/Construction industry will be considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in UK Real Estate/Construction industry will be considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in Shipping industry will be considered an advantage.
- IT literate (good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel).
- Knowledge of SAP ERP accounting software will be considered as advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written is a must.
- Excellent organisational and management skills and ability to lead a team.
- Attention to detail and quality of work is a must.
- Ability to prioritise in a fast paced and tight deadline driven environment is a must.
