Delta Foods is seeking a skilled
Mechanical Automation Engineer with experience in industrial automation, particularly in SCADA, PLC, and application support. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team, contributing to the improvement and development of automation solutions that drive efficiency and technological innovation in our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize existing industrial automation applications (SCADA, PLC) to enhance processes and productivity
- Design electrical circuits using tools such as E-plan and AutoCAD
- Develop new industrial automation applications (SCADA, PLC) based on production process requirements and specifications
- Integrate and connect different industrial automation systems (process, filling-packing, utilities, etc.) for seamless operation
- Support and oversee the development and deployment of new OT & IIOT applications on cloud-based platforms from third-party vendors, adapt them to factory needs, and provide after-sales support
- Support automation applications beyond industrial use, such as paper-to-digital solutions, energy monitoring platforms, production efficiency applications (e.g., Evocon), and Operational Excellence applications (e.g., Solvace)
- Assist in the development and support of data analysis and reporting applications using Power BI
- Support and develop end-user applications on platforms such as SharePoint, MS Planner, Power Automate, etc
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering
- Experience minimum 2-4 years in QA engineering with a focus on test automation
- Proven experience with industrial automation systems (SCADA, PLC) would be an asset
- Proficiency in design tools (E-plan, AutoCAD) would be an asset
- Strong knowledge of MS Power BI, SharePoint, MS Planner, Power Automate
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and third-party vendors
- Good understanding of cloud-based platforms and OT & IIOT applications
