Job Title: Backend Web Developer
Job Description: Zygos, a leader in software solutions for the legal, accounting and financial industry, is looking for a mid-experience backend web developer with fluency in the Laravel Framework, to join its development team, and contribute to the expansion of the features of its software solutions.
You should apply if :
- You have experience (2-3 years) in using the PHP language and the Laravel PHP Framework.
- You have experience in creating/extending a JSON API.
- You are comfortable with version control systems, such as Git.
- You are proficient in MySQL and have a solid understanding of database schema design and optimization.
- You have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, well-documented code.
What you will be doing :
- Maintaining and extending our newly created API to support the needs of our product roadmap.
- Collaborating closely with frontend developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration between the backend and frontend.
- Implementing unit tests to ensure the reliability of the code.
- Monitoring, testing, and optimizing the performance of APIs to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Meet with the Product team (Product Manager & CTO) and discuss the new APIs/features needed to be added to our solutions.
