Job Overview:
The Front Desk Shift Leader is responsible for managing room allocations based on the hotel's availability and strategy during their shift. Their main focus is to ensure that guests receive a highly personalized experience, which aligns with the hotel's brand, providing an exceptional guest experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the Front Desk Supervisor to evaluate Front Desk Agents' performance
- Participates actively in training programs to enhance personal and team growth
- Maintains high standards of behaviour, appearance, and professionalism at all times
- Greets all guests in a friendly, courteous, and respectful manner
- Addresses guest complaints in a prompt and appropriate manner to ensure guest satisfaction
- Manages check-ins, check-outs, and reservations, ensuring proper guest room allocation based on availability and guest preferences
- Works closely with various departments to fulfil guest needs and requests, ensuring smooth operations across the hotel
- Takes on additional duties as assigned by the Front Desk Supervisor, contributing to the efficient operation of the Front Desk
- Ensures a high level of customer service is maintained, upholding the hotel's values and standards
Requirements
- BA in Hospitality and Tourism Management or relevant studies
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and the English language - knowledge of any other language would be considered an asset
- Excellent knowledge of Opera PMS
- 2 years minimum experience as a Front Desk Shift Leader in a 4 or 5* Luxury Boutique Hotel
