The Maintenance Personnel is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on various equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency and safety. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying maintenance needs and executing tasks to uphold the facility's standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruption
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in the installation and assembly of new equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Technical certification or trade school training preferred
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed
