Role Description
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals for the role of Front Desk Agent (Receptionist) at Mykonos Bay Resort & Villas in Míkonos. The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for handling receptionist duties, managing reservations, providing exceptional customer service, and effective communication with guests.
Qualifications
- Phone Etiquette
- Strong Communication & Customer Service skills
- Computer literate and previous experiences with Opera and Front Office systems
- Adhere to OH&S policies and procedures
- Experience in managing reservations, annulments
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Professional appearance, positive and "can-do!" attitude
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment with multi-cultural guests
- Hospitality diploma or any relevant certificate equivalent
- English Language is mandatory, other language as Spanish, Italian, Russian, Arabic or Greek will be a plus
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly as they arrive, addressing them with courtesy and professionalism
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all transactions
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to guests, assisting them in making the most of their stay
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and effectively, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area, ensuring it reflects the spirit of the hotel
- When on night shift, check night report, prepare morning report and prepare all necessary forms for guest arrivals
- Utilize hotel management software for guest bookings, reservations, and billing processes accurately
- Handle cash and credit card transactions securely, following hotel policies and procedures
- Assist building leadership with any administrative tasks required to keep all operations running smoothly
- Flex to support the back-of-house/Hospitality Agent team on a day-to-day basis as needs arise through housekeeping quality audits, inventory checks, and minor maintenance and technology issues
- Respond to issues with empathy and professionalism, striving to resolve them to the guest's satisfaction
- Uphold the hotel's standards of service excellence, adhering to brand guidelines and protocols at all times
- Attend to guest’s complaints, inquiries and requests, refer problems to supervisor/Assistant Manager
