Responsibilities
- Handle incoming reservations calls and emails, providing excellent customer service and accurately entering guest details into the reservation system
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding room availability, rates, amenities, and promotions
- Assist guests with modifications or cancellations to existing reservations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that guest requests and special arrangements are properly communicated and implemented
- Process payment transactions and ensure accuracy in billing and financial documentation
- Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to provide personalized recommendations to guests
- Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and high levels of empathy, working towards a satisfactory resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar position is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek; additional languages are a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and proficiency in using computer systems and software
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the hotel's operational needs
