Fameline Management & Services Ltd is seeking to expand its team with a detail-oriented and experienced Credit Controller to join our Limassol office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, ensuring the prompt collection of outstanding debts, and fostering positive relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and adhere to all company policies related to cash collection and credit management
- Take ownership of debt collection for the assigned portfolio, ensuring timely follow-up on all outstanding payments
- Reach out to customers and partners regarding overdue balances, fostering positive relationships while addressing payment concerns
- Negotiate payment plans and terms, when necessary, always striving for amicable and practical solutions
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, balances, and any issues that impact payments, providing full transparency
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Sales and Customer Service to resolve disputes effectively and maintain strong client relationships
- Prepare regular reports on credit and collections activities, highlighting overdue accounts, potential credit risks, and identifying areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in credit control or a similar role is advantageous
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles and credit control procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism in difficult conversations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Fluent in both Greek and English
