REQ11741 Technician - Limassol (Open)
Position Summary
The technician is responsible for all planed and non-planned maintenance and repair works for all gaming machines and ensures that these are completed on time and as per standards specified. The Technician reports to the Lead Technician.
Primary Responsibilities
- Performance of on-going preventive maintenance to ensure the service ability of all Electronic Gaming Machines and Table Gaming equipment, as well as the upkeep of their repair records. Maintain equipment to approved standards and schedules.
- Performs Electronic Gaming Machine and Table Games related gaming immediate repairs and other maintenance activities in accordance with manufacture guidelines and departmental procedures.
- Inspects all new machines and conversion kits prior to installation onto the gaming floor. Perform EGM and Table Games related equipment moves, installations and re-configurations to the gaming floor in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Assists in the management and control of spare parts, repairable items and consumables for Electronic Gaming Machines and Table Gaming equipment.
- Acts accordance with Departmental Policies, Procedures and CGC regulations.
- Develops a culture that promotes and maintains a high level of morale amongst the team, develops positive working relationships with all related departments.
- Ensures a safe and clean environment for customers.
- Delivers a quality customer experience, in a welcoming and entertaining environment, providing value, always conducted with integrity.
- Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The Team Member will be required to meet all appearance guidelines while on duty to successfully perform the essential functions of this position
- Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Will be exposed to electrical and other hazards and in a second-hand smoke-filled environment while performing the essential functions of this position
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time based on Management’s sole discretion and prerogatives and in accordance with business objectives
Key Performance Indicators
Functionality of Electronic gaming equipment – Table Gaming Equipment. Adherence to all relevant Policies and Procedures. Speed, efficiency, and effectiveness of gaming related floor configurations.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years in Technical position or in IT related industry
Education
- Secondary school certificate in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
- Diploma or Degree in Electronics is preferred
- Candidates without any trade certificates but with solid experience will also be considered
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent command of Greek and English are highly preferred
- Good knowledge of basic computer use (MS Office) is highly preferred
- Attention to detail
- Hand-on and possess good problem-solving skills and attending to details
- Performs other duties as and when required at time of emergency
