Boost Hospitality is seeking a Front Office Agent - Receptionist for one of its clients in Naxos, Greece for season 2025 (May - October).
The client is a small property with 17 luxurious rooms, which offers personalized service to its guests. They are seeking a competent individual who will provide professional but unpretentious service to all guests, ultimately contributing to a memorable vacation.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Naxos from Mid May to Mid October. You will be responsible for daily receptionist duties, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining effective communication with guests and the rest of the team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- You will perform daily front office duties, including check in/check out, payments, billing, ensuring we collect correct guest data, and communicating any guest issues.
- Maintain an accurate record of all reservations, payments following the correct procedures.
- Establish a good rapport with guests and consistently provide high quality service. You will assist guests in organising other leisure activities (car rental, restaurants, yatchs etc) and provide recommendations.
- You will handle and resolve all guest queries and problems effectively, with a courteous manner and enthusiasm. Good problem solving skills and follow up for effective service recovery.
- Manage guest communications (calls, emails, messages etc) and special queries for existing and new reservation queries.
- Assist in maximising revenue through the conversion of telephone calls & emails into sales.
- To liaise with housekeeping as to the daily cleaning schedule and allocation of rooms.
- Communicate effectively with the rest of the team about special needs of guests, complaints, and discrepancies.
- Follow and adhere to the Cash Register, Key and Controls policies established.
- You'll take pride in maintainin a clean and organized reception space, also lending a hand to your colleagues where necessary. The condition of the reception & public areas is a reflection of our work ethos.
Candidate profile:
- Relevant experience in a similar role (at least 2 years)
- Bachelor's degree, diploma or equivalent in Hospitality or relevant field is a plus.
- Ability to work independently
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, with a positive attitude
- Accountability and integrity
- Languages: Greek and Fluency in English (written and verbal) - additional language is a plus
- Competent computer skills
- Knowledge of hotel management software (Hotelizer, Webhotelier, OTAs)
- Ability to perform under pressure and good time management skills
