Responsibilities:

Customer Focus: Understands customer needs and ensures they receive high-quality products and services. Utilizes customer feedback tools to make decisions and improve restaurant performance.
Leadership & Coaching: Demonstrates principled leadership and sound business ethics. Regularly coaches staff to achieve objectives and provides ongoing, constructive feedback.
Business Objectives: Actively pursues business objectives and takes responsibility to ensure they are met. Understands key business drivers and uses this knowledge to build sales and achieve margin targets.
Operational Management: Manages 6 brand restaurants, ensuring Annual Operating Plans are established and expectations are met or exceeded.
Facility Maintenance: Ensures facilities and equipment meet standards, coordinating upgrades or replacements as needed.
Inventory & Supplier Management: Resolves systemic inventory issues and works with suppliers/vendors on supply matters.
Speed of Service: Monitors restaurant Speed of Service (SOS) performance, providing coaching to management teams to meet targets.
Scheduling & Planning: Oversees the development of weekly management schedules and shares these with the Operations Manager.
New Store Openings: Actively participates in new store openings.
Audits & Compliance: Conducts unexpected store visits and audits to ensure all guidelines and procedures are followed.
Delivery Business: Collaborates with external aggregators to support the Delivery Business.
Restaurant Planning: Works with Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) to develop restaurant-specific Annual Operating Plans.
Financial Analysis: Analyzes sales, labor, inventory, and controllables on an ongoing basis. Coaches RGMs to take corrective action to meet margin and sales growth targets, establishing specific action plans as needed.
Training on Financials: Trains and mentors subordinates on financial analysis and tips for profitability.
CAPEX Requests: Reviews and prioritizes store CAPEX requests, establishing vendor relationships where economies of scale can be leveraged.
Financial Issue Resolution: Resolves unit-level financial issues in collaboration with relevant departments.
Customer Service: Drives a customer-focused culture by role-modeling resolution of serious customer issues and training managers to meet or exceed service standards.
Complaint Analysis: Tracks, analyzes, and identifies the root cause of customer complaints, leading management teams to implement systematic solutions.
HR Planning: Develops and updates market HR plans with the HR Manager/HRBP, forecasting staffing requirements and building a talent pipeline.
Performance Management: Leads the performance management process for all management and team members, ensuring feedback, timely appraisals, training, development planning, and due process in dispute resolution.
Workplace Environment: Monitors the work environment in all units to ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees, adhering to company and legislative regulations.
Employee Motivation: Provides ongoing recognition of outstanding performance to motivate employees at all levels.
Collaboration with Support Departments: Effectively collaborates with departments such as Marketing, HR, QA, IT, Maintenance, and Training to address challenges and propose action plans.
Out-of-Hours Support: Available to support restaurant units outside of regular working hours as needed.
Brand Planning: Involved in the yearly Business Plan (BP) of the brand.
Culture Promotion: Acts as a culture ambassador, promoting the brand’s culture alongside the restaurant management teams.

Requirements:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in restaurants/industry.
3-5 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail.
Proven track record in selecting, coaching, and developing managerial employees.
Demonstrated ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee satisfaction.
