Job Overview:
As the HR Systems Specialist for CEMEA, you will be a key member of the HR team, supporting the transformation and optimization of HR operations through technology. You will assist in implementing and maintaining HR systems, primarily focused on improving efficiency in areas such as payroll, benefits, employee inquiries, and other HR services. This role will work closely with both HR and Transformation teams to ensure the effective use of HR technologies, and you will play an important part in ensuring smooth HR service delivery and compliance with company policies.
Main responsibilities:
HRIS Support & Implementation:
First 9-12 months will focus on data gathering from HRBPs across the CEMEA region, ensuring compliance with local policies. The role will be primarily project-based during this period for each of the countries where the full HRIS will be implemented.
- Support the development and deployment of HR technology to streamline HR processes.
- Provide day-to-day support to HR teams and employees, ensuring system functionality aligns with business needs.
- Troubleshoot basic HRIS issues and work with senior HR, IT and Transformation teams to resolve more complex issues.
Operational Support:
- Ensure accurate data migration and validation, especially during the initial implementation phase.
- Collaborate with HR and operations teams to ensure accurate data entry and system updates related to payroll, employee records, and other HR activities.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Assist HR teams in CEMEA countries with their HRIS-related questions.
Data & Reporting:
- Responsible for conducting pre-implementation data audits, ensuring that all country-specific HR data is accurately captured and aligned with system requirements during the first 12 months.
- Assist in generating HR reports and analytics for decision-making, using the HRIS platform to extract, analyze, and interpret HR data.
- Support the collection of employee data to ensure accurate reporting on key metrics such as headcount, turnover, and other KPIs.
- Assist with other activities related to collecting data from CEMEA countries and preparing various reports.
Change Management & Training:
- Conduct, together with global HR & service provider, training sessions for HRBPs, focusing on system transition support during the first year.
- Provide basic training to HR and line managers on how to use the HRIS platform and its functionalities.
- Assist in change management efforts to ensure a smooth transition during the implementation of new systems or processes.
Technology & Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on the latest HR technologies and trends to provide recommendations on system improvements.
- Support system testing, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance to enhance user experience and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HRIS systems implementation and support, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Project Management skills
- Experience with HR systems and technologies, with basic knowledge of HR processes such as payroll, employee records, and benefits administration.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively with data and produce clear reports.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required; knowledge of HRIS platforms is a must knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce is a plus.
