Your Role
- Optimize the performance of PHP 8.1+ applications and troubleshoot issues
- Maintain and develop new internal/external integrations with providers and microservices
- Refactor and optimize existing monolithic code
- Write unit tests to ensure code quality
- Develop and document APIs
- Conduct code reviews and participate in cross-reviews
- Collaborate closely with the QA and Product teams
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to take responsibility for tasks and proactively address challenges
- 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development
- Familiarity with popular frameworks such as: Laravel, Symfony, and Yii.
- Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL), including the ability to build complex queries, work with aggregations, and optimize indexes. Understanding of transactions is also important
- Experience with REST APIs
- Familiarity with microservice architecture
- Experience with Redis/Memcache for caching strategies
- Practical experience with RabbitMQ or similar message brokers to build scalable, asynchronous systems
- Understanding of shared resources, locks, idempotency, ACID principles, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Docker
