Applications are invited from candidates who possess the necessary qualifications in order to fill two (2) Part-time Researchers positions (Postgraduate Associates / Assistant Researchers A’ or Post-Doctoral Researchers) at the Department of Nursing in the field of “Public Health” as follows:.
The first position (CODE NOS1) concerns employment within the framework of the Co-Operator research project (Developing a Country-Observatory for sharing best practices for vaccination promotion) with the aim of mapping at a European level the hesitancy towards vaccinations and is financed by the European EU4Health program (2023-2026). The position involves project management support responsibilities and data collection through questionnaires and mixed methodology methods.
The second position (CODE NOS2) concerns employment within the research project DESIPOC (Developing a sustained European initiative for monitoring and sharing practices in psychosocial oncology care provision) financed by the European program EU4Health (2024-2026). The researcher will undertake a systematic review of the literature and meta-analysis, development of questionnaires using focus groups and psychometric methods and support and coordination with foreign agencies in the collection of data from people with cancer experience, caregivers and health professionals in field of oncology care together with PASYKAF.

For the position of Postgraduate Associate / Assistant Researcher A’
A Postgraduate (Master’s) degree from a recognized university in one or a combination of the following fields of study: Health Sciences (including public health, psychology, medicine, nursing)
For the position of the Post-doctoral Researcher
A PhD Title in a field pertinent or similar to the following fields of study: Health Sciences subjects
Furthermore, for all positions the applicants must have:
Experience in conducting research relevant to the position
Experience in preparing, submitting, and managing research national/EU funded projects will be considered as an advantage
Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
Organizational skills
Τhe appointment will be for a period of twelve (12) months with the prospect of renewal until 30.8.26.
The monthly gross salary for the position for part time employment 71.50 hours/month (full time corresponds to 143,33 hours/month), according to current legislation and corresponding to qualifications as follows:
For Postdoctoral researchers: €1404,59
For Assistant Researchers A: €1065,68
From the agreed amount, employee contributions to Government Funds as well as Income Tax will be deducted, according to the legislation into effect. It is noted that there is provision for 13th salary (the cost of the 13th salary has been proportionally incorporated in the monthly remuneration as analyzed above).
