POSITION TITLE: Data Entry Clerk
LOCATION: Remote
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in our systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and update data in databases and computer systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Review and verify data for completeness and accuracy before entering.
- Identify and correct errors in data entry processes.
- Maintain and organize electronic and paper files.
- Assist in generating reports as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve data management processes.
- Ensure data confidentiality and security.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry or related roles.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and data entry software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of database management.
