Albourne is a global financial services group of companies. Our objective is to advise our clients to be the best investors they can be. The company’s main areas of focus are fund research, portfolio and risk advice, FinTech and implementation. The Nicosia office opened in 1998 and it provides back office and IT services to the regulated companies of the Albourne group; it currently has over 300 dynamic employees and we are looking to have more to join our teams across various functions.
Role in Brief
The Windows System and Microsoft 365 Administrator is responsible for maintaining the Windows computing environment by identifying system requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring Windows system performance and providing support to the company’s Windows and Microsoft 365 Infrastructure.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for maintaining SharePoint Online implementation; to create and administer site collections and sub-sites; support Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Planner integration and other App integrations.
Insights to the Role
System Administration:
- Provides design, implementation, administration, monitoring and troubleshooting of Server virtualization infrastructure systems including but not limited to: Hyper-V, System Center VMM
- Provides design, implementation, administration, monitoring and troubleshooting of Windows Server based infrastructure systems including but not limited to: Windows Active Directory Services (ADDS), DNS, DHCP,Remote Desktop Services (RDS), File Services and Print Services.
- Provides design, implementation, administration, monitoring and troubleshooting of Windows Servers and Client (700+) systems lifecycle management including but not limited to: Microsoft Intune Automated OS Deployment, Automated Software provisioning, Configuration Management, Patch Management, Implementation of Security Best Practices
- Provides design, implementation, administration, monitoring and troubleshooting of Cloud Services including but not limited to: Entra, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, OneDrive, Planner, MFA and custom add-in integrations.
- Identifies and corrects faults and provides resolution of complex problem tickets escalated from help desk.
- Provide other System Admin responsibilities when required.
Microsoft 365 Administration:
- Create, customize, and support SharePoint sites, lists and libraries.
- Design workflows, integrate with Power Automate and other apps for process automation.
- Day-to-day upkeep, supporting content managers and performing upgrades as needed.
- Manage DLP for document security and monitor logs & reporting for ISO compliance.
- Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include audit log reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
- Requires 3+ years administrator experience on virtualized Windows servers (2012 R2).
- Experience with various storage technologies such as RAID, iSCSI, DAS, NAS and SAN.
- Experience with scripting such as PowerShell.
- Experience with group policy management.
The following industry certifications would be considered a plus:
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
- CompTIA Security+, Network+.
- Familiarity with Backup software and strategies
- Superior communication and customer service skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet stated deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task and set priorities.
- Strong System literacy (Microsoft 365 Apps, etc.)
- Work outside of normal business hours – coinciding with system upgrades and or emergencies.
- Abide by the Communication Group policies and procedures as well as the Albourne Group’s policies and procedures, including but not limited to compliance reporting, HFDB filing, Information,
- Communications & Cyber Security Policy, Expense & Travel Policy, etc.
- Comply with terms of Albourne Compliance Manuals and Group Policies
- Attend company events upon request.
- Travel upon request.
