Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Ensure the availability, accuracy, and reliability of data for real-time and batch processing.
• Optimize database queries and data models to improve performance and efficiency.
• Develop and automate data integration processes from multiple sources, ensuring data consistency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Support data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Optional: Develop and maintain data-related applications (full stack, API development, etc.) based on expertise.

 

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00 to 18:00 with one (1) hour break time.

 

 

Candidate Profile:

• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (oracledb, sql server,PostgreSQL, redshift, kafka, mongodb, MySQL).
• Experience with zero ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake, distributed sql engines like trino, technologies like apache doris etc..).
• proficiency with programming languages such as c++, C#, Java, scala,  zig, golang.  scripting languages like python.
• Experience with personal initiatives, side projects, building CLI tools.
• High-level proficiency in Excel for ad-hoc needs.
• Experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and perform under pressure.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and self-motivated.
